Bacon-wrapped turkey breast rolled in honey.
Tease the palates of your friends and family this Christmas with this delicious treat.
Ingredients.
Turkey breasts.
Bacon, thick cuts.
Fine sea salt.
Black pepper.
Garlic powder.
Onion powder.
Smoked paprika
Honey.
Bread crumbs.
Lettuce or parsley (optional)
Method of preparation.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheet with foil paper to catch the drizzle.
Cut the turkey breast into bite-sized pieces and season with sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. This will give it a nice flavour and colour.
Slice the bacon in halves or two-thirds depending on their thickness. Bacon slices should be long enough to overlap when they are wrapped around the turkey.
Wrap each turkey piece with a bacon slice.
Roll each turkey bite in honey and bread crumbs.
Place seam side down on the baking sheet and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
Serve and garnish with lettuce or parsley.
Chocolate Bichons.
Amaze your family and guests with this delicious treat. They are so yummy, they will have a hard time resisting them.
Ingredients.
1 ½ cups butter.
½ tsp. maple syrup.
1 cup of cocoa powder.
1 2/3 cup granulated sugar.
2/3 cup milk chocolate chips.
2/3 cup dark chocolate chips.
1 tsp. salt.
¾ cup confectionary sugar, for dusting.
3 whole eggs.
Method of preparation.
Preheat the oven to 350f and grease your baking tins.
Sieve the cocoa powder and flour to remove clumps. Combine in a bowl and mix in the salt.
Break the eggs into a large mixing bowl. Add the maple syrup and sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
Add 1/3 of the dry ingredients into the egg mixture and mix.
Repeat the fourth step thrice until all the ingredients are well combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop the batter into a pastry bag and fill the baking moulds to the top.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until set.
Remove from the oven and leave it on the rack to cool. Remove the bouchons from the moulds and leave them to cool for another 25 minutes. Dust with confectionary sugar.
Banana Croquettes.
7 oz. overripe banana. Washed, peeled, and mashed.
1 cup of sugar.
½ cup of liquid milk.
4 ½ oz. All-purpose wheat flour.
1 tsp. baking powder.
Vegetable oil.
Ginger powder.
Parsley (optional).
1 egg
Method of preparation.
Put the mashed banana in a large bowl and add the mixture of flour, baking powder, and ginger to it. Mix until smooth.
Mix sugar, milk, and egg. Add it to the dry ingredients. Mix to a soft consistency but not as smooth as pancakes bater.
Heat vegetable oil. Drop tablespoons of batter, deep fry until golden brown.
Remove and place on a sieve lined with a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Creamy Roasted Cashew Nut Pie.
Ingredients.
2 ½ cups of cashew nuts.
9-inch pie shell.
1 cup of sugar.
2 Tsp. butter.
3 eggs.
1 cup less 2 tsp. heavy cream.
1 Tsp. pineapple juice, fresh.
½ cup of corn syrup.
½ tsp salt.
1 tsp. vanilla.
Method of preparation.
Preheat oven to 400F.
Slightly crush cashew nut and put in pie shell.
Put remaining ingredients (except cashew nuts in a blender) in a blender and run for 10 seconds.
Pour mixture into the pie shells and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and arrange the remaining cashew nuts on the top of the pie and bake for another 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and leave it to cool.
Coconut Flakes Chocolate Fudge.
This chocolate fudge is not only delicious but very easy to make. All it takes is 10 minutes of your time on the cooker.
Ingredients.
1 cup coconut flakes (toasted).
14c bittersweet chocolate chips.
Two cans of condensed milk.
Two Tbsp. butter.
tsp. maple syrup.
¼ tsp. kosher salt.
A punch of cinnamon, (ground)
Method of preparation.
Line your baking pan with parchment paper, allowing it to overlap on the two opposite sides.
Mix condensed milk and chocolate chips in a non-stick saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring with a wooden ladle until you get a smooth consistency.
Add the maple syrup, butter, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until butter is melted and all ingredients are well blended.
Pour the mixture into the lined pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the toasted coconut flakes on top and press down gently.
Refrigerate for 4 hours.
Remove the pan using the overlaps into a cutting board and cut into desired shapes and sizes.
Boodle’s Fool.

This treatment relies on large quantities of orange and lemon juice.
Ingredients.
2 packets of sponge cake. (16 squares)
Juice of 6 oranges.
Juice of 3 lemons.
1 pint of single cream.
¼ – ½ pint double cream.
6 oz. sugar.
Method of preparation.
Break the sponge cakes and line a large serving dish.
In another bowl, mix the sugar, orange, and lemon juice.
Stir in the single cream and pour this over the sponge cakes so that all the pieces become slightly saturated.
Chill for 2 -3 hours and decorate with lightly whipped double cream.
Enjoy.
Pawpaw Fool.
Ingredients.
1 large ripe pawpaw.
Custard (cooked)
Sugar
Juice of a half lemon.
Method of preparation.
Peel and puree pawpaw. Pour into a large glass bowl.
Add an equal quantity of custard to the pawpaw puree and add the sugar.
Chill and serve as dessert.
